How it works

From schedule to session in four steps

01

Schedule online

Book a telehealth appointment directly through our online scheduler. Same-week appointments are often available.

02

Insurance verified

Our billing team confirms your coverage before the first session. No surprise charges — we tell you what to expect up front.

03

Receive your secure link

You'll get a private, HIPAA-compliant video link 24 hours before your session. No app download required.

04

Connect from anywhere

Join from your phone, tablet, or laptop. Your therapist is present — the only thing missing is the waiting room.

Real connection — remote delivery

The screen doesn't change the relationship

Many clients tell us telehealth felt more comfortable than an office — they were in their own space, which made it easier to open up. Our therapists have conducted thousands of video sessions and bring the same attentiveness and relational depth they bring in person.

Telehealth works especially well for couples and families — each person can join from their own device, reducing the stress of co-locating for appointments.

Telehealth questions answered

What you need to know before your first session

Is telehealth as effective as in-person therapy?

Yes. A substantial body of research — including studies specific to CBT, couples therapy, and family systems work — shows telehealth produces equivalent outcomes to in-person for most presenting concerns. We offer it with confidence.

What technology do I need?

Any device with a camera and microphone works — smartphone, tablet, or laptop. Our platform runs in the browser; no software installation is required. A stable internet connection is all you need.

Is my session private and secure?

All video sessions use end-to-end encryption and are hosted on a HIPAA-compliant platform. Sessions are never recorded without explicit written consent.

Can I switch from telehealth to in-person?

Absolutely. Many clients use a hybrid model — telehealth for convenience, in-person for intensive sessions. Your therapist will work with you on the format that fits your goals.

Does insurance cover telehealth?

Most plans we accept — including Medicaid — cover telehealth at the same rate as in-person sessions. Our team confirms your telehealth benefits before you begin.
